Are you interested in joining the PANDSI Board?
PANDSI is governed by a volunteer Board and complies with the regulations of the ACT Associations Incorporation ACT 1991 and the PANDSI Constitution. Office bearers include President, Vice President, and Treasurer. Board Members oversee all operations of PANDSI whose day-to-day activities are run by the Chief Executive Officer.
Board Members serve for a period of two years and are eligible for re-election after that term. Board Members bring their experience and time to the Board to support the oversight of PANDSI. The Board is particularly looking for new members with experience/expertise in fundraising and media, as well as the health and mental health sectors and consumers. Board Members are governed by the PANDSI Board Charter and have the option to sit on specialist sub-committees.
Commitment involved in serving on the Board includes attending Board Meetings (held approximately every six weeks) and reading/contributing towards items presented in Board Papers prior to the meeting. Most Board members also take on a specific responsibility or project. Becoming a Board Member of PANDSI is a great way to support us, and also build upon your professional development.
PANDSI welcomes new Board Members and would like to hear from you if you are interested finding out more about serving on the PANDSI Board.
